Admission Overload Mode

Admission Overload Mode is designed for admission nurses, charge nurses, or nurses receiving multiple admissions during a shift. It helps organize high-risk admission details, missed items, unfinished tasks, and safe handoff so the next nurse does not have to clean up incomplete admissions.

Best for: Admission Nurse / Charge Nurse / Multiple Admissions / Admission Cleanup

This mode is optional. It is not meant to add extra work for the regular floor nurse. Floor nurses may use Skilled Note or Admission Note mode when they only need one chart-ready note.

Admission Overload Mode helps identify

  • Admission assessment completed or still pending
  • Admission progress note completed or still pending
  • Orders entered and verified
  • Medication availability
  • Pharmacy notification needed
  • IV antibiotics / PICC / midline / IV access orders
  • Oxygen / respiratory orders
  • Dialysis follow-up
  • Narcotics count/log if applicable
  • Diet and allergies
  • Skin assessment / wounds / pressure risk
  • Fall risk and safety measures
  • Isolation or infection control precautions
  • Provider notification if needed
  • Family/responsible party notification if needed
  • What must be completed before end of shift
  • What must be passed to the next nurse
